Having been diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer at the age of 25, Fran Whitfield was given 2 years to live. After changing hospitals, brain surgery, chemotherapy, cyberknife radiotherapy, medically induced menopause and targeted therapy drugs that she still takes today, Fran was living cancer free. But despite the advice to rest, Fran trained throughout her entire diagnosis.
Today, Fran is a Cancer and Rehabilitation Expert, working with people pre-treatment, during treatment and post treatment; preaching the importance of exercise, lifting weights and breaking down stigmas surrounding cancer.
